I’m so glad you’re here! 💙 If you are looking for a different way to approach the high school years with your out of the box teen, then you are in the right place. 🙌 My name is Heather Woodie and I’ve been blogging at BlogSheWrote.org for over 14 years. In blog years, that's OLD. 😂 My blog grew up with my kids and now I focus on mentoring moms of differently wired high schoolers. If your out of the box teen has big dreams and eyes for further education, even better. We can do that! 💙 We have four fabulous kids, all of whom are neurodivergent. 💙 Our oldest two are college seniors in honors programs at their respective schools. Our oldest achieved a large scholarship given to a small fraction of students and our second was admitted to an Ivy League design program with only 7 other students that year. Our newest graduate is still recovering from a long term illness and he’s over the moon about his class at our local community college. 💙 Their stories have plot twists that we didn’t imagine when they were young, but that hasn’t stopped them from dreaming big. 💙 You’ll meet them for sure. They pop up because I want to encourage you and your out of the box teens! 💙 Our youngest here is a high school junior.
