It’s the time of year when we’re all thinking of a new year of homeschool. Are you ready? Maybe you have room for one more resource or two especially if it’s Geography!   2. My favorite part of learning geography alongside the kids is filling in the gaps in my own learning. I am not ashamed to say that *I* am learning all of the time.

  3. I am not very good with the geography side of things. Was not my strong suit in school. This material looks like it would be great for helping me teach my daughter along with helping me learn some things too.

  10. We travel a bit and studying geography is just a natural part of that travel. Plus it help tie a bunch of subjects together. History, science, math, religion….it’s all there!

  23. My favorite part about geography was always THE MAPS. My daughter loves maps, but she loves immersing herself in facts about somewhere new and different, too!

  24. I love filling in maps…labeling and coloring! I also love the light bulb effect when you realize where a place actually is!

  25. Our favorite part of learning geography is the projects we do. I incorporate a lot of hands on activities into our school days and the kids really enjoy making their own maps, stories, and making up their own countries. It would be AWESOME if we won this set!!

  30. I was..well am…horrible with geography. But I married a guy who LOVES maps, so my kids are super into geography. We play compass rose games and have maps all over the house!

  45. I’m not sure how it happened, but apart from learning the states in fifth grade, I feel like I never really learned geography. I am trying to right that wrong while learning along with my children.

  54. My favorite thing about learning geography is teaching my children about different places and cultures. I also like that they always seem to add to the list of places they want to visit as a result.

  55. My favorite part about learning about geography is discovering the places that we’ve read about in the Bible,History books and Biographies. The “Living” stories in these books make the geography facts come alive in a new way.
