Art Supplies for the Nature Artist

Sketch Pencil Set– Different hardness pencils provide varying effects. My nature journaler prefers to draw first then use watercolors on her drawings. Also, you never know which pencil the artist will prefer.

Kneadable Eraser– These make removing pencil marks easy and they don’t leave eraser crumbs behind.

Watercolor Paints– We like tube water colors the best. They are easy to use if you haven’t before and they give you a lot of versatility with their deep pigments.

Palette– One with multiple wells and mixing areas.

White Charcoal– This is fun to use on colored paper to make drawings.

Paint Brushes– We prefer good quality, open stock brushes from local stores, but you can get a variety of nice brushes any way you’d like.

Micron Pen Set– The various sized points are useful in different applications. We use them for all sorts of art projects.
