The Beginner’s Guide to Experimenting with Torque– one of the logical steps you can take after learning about gears.

Calculating Density– a great physics lab that teaches how to calculate density from getting the mass of an irregular object.

How to Build an EV3 Robot– a tutoral for building a simple robot with the Mindstorms EV3 kit. You’ll also find a program to run on it, courtesy of our youngest.

How to Make a Marble Speed Trap with LEGO Mindstorms– we also did this the old fashioned analog way, but this one is building a device to collect the data and calculate for you.

Learning with LEGO Mindstorms– the hub here on the blog for all of our Mindstorms activities

Making STEM Connections with Gravity Jousting– a nice lab using a kit from Pitsco Education, but most of the materials are household items that you can use and do the same lab.
